50 First Dates movie production

The popular comedy movie 50 First Dates was originally called 50 First Kisses. For the Alaska segment at the end of the movie, the sail boat was filmed in Alaska utilizing the vessels and serviced of Capt. Henry Tomingas. The actors later green screened in. He selected his 123' Landing Craft. It was stable and had a heliport plus accomodations for the crew. All the sound trucks and support vehicles, Mexican Party Boats and gear was easily loaded on the deck by simply driving up it's bow ramp. Watch the segment from 50 First Dates:
