Seven Seas Surveys

Tom was in WWII Pacific war theater as a UDT (Navy SEAL) sonar and demolition expert based on PT Boats and submarines.  He came back to marine service to work with Ocean Explorers for a decade.  Tom retired and at nearly 90 passed away in 2018.  Please visit  TomGunn.org 

Henry has many waterway firsts in his resume, from pioneering whitewater and river trips in Grand Teton National Park and Glacier National Park to survey's of the Susitna and other wild Alaskan Rivers. 

Since the early 1980's, Henry has owned and operated fishing vessels, research boats and ocean going ships, landing craft, helipad ships in remote locations with an unprecedented and unmatched record of  100% completion record with no down time and no incidents.

He has taken ships that had never worked since built, or out of compliance years and brought them back to service with COI, Load Lines, Helidecks and multipoint anchoring systems. Several such as the Arctic Wolf and Bering Explorer, became legends as the most capable and reliable ships in Alaska while under Henry's ownership.

Henry is available to survey and provide information on requirements, safety and reliability from a long history of active marine operations in remote locations from the Aleutian Islands to the North Sea to Prince William Sound, the Pacific North West and Santa Catalina Island in CA, to Tortugas FL.
